2010 Brings Change!
Launched about a year ago, Beginner Motorcycle Reviews was my outlet to share my thoughts and opinions about some of the most common bikes that are being marketed to “beginner” riders. I went out and rode a lot of bikes, met a bunch of really cool riders and great people. This website has been such a personal success that part of me doesn’t want to change it.
But guess what? It’s a new year, and that means that it’s time to change. I’ve got plenty of plans in store for this website, some of which are insignificant, and others which are going to take this website in new directions.
Upcoming Changes for 2010:
- New website design - While I don’t dislike how the website currently looks, I have decided to make it a little more unique. It will also be a little easier to navigate and find the information that my visitors are looking for.
- More hands-on content - When I go to motorcycle meets and mention my website there’s always at least one person who’s visited it before. My reviews have gotten a fair bit of attention (don’t ask me why, I’m just a humble Canadian). I’m going to add more: more reviews, more previews, more pictures, and video whenever I can.
- Forums - I put up a poll several months ago and I got a great response! Time to step it up even further and add some forums! These forums will be moderated by yours truly at first to make sure that everything is on the level. I’ll start small and grow in the areas that the users need.
- User-created content – Have you got a review you’d like to submit? No problem! I’m working with a friend of mine to make it much easier for users to add content to the site!
Thanks everyone for your continued support and always-welcomed suggestions! Happy belated New Year, and may 2010 be even more exciting than 2009!
