Its was to much power for a newbie. Its to much power for alot of experienced riders. Learn to take a smaller bike to its limits before you get into the 600+ sport bikes. I got a GS500F for my first bike and I still own it, I still can have alot of fun on it, keep up with the bigger bikes and it was great for learning to lean far etc...
